Time for a bit of R&R
/When you’ve partied as hard as we have these last two weeks, it’s no surprise that a sickness has washed over my body. Unfortunately I think it was worth it. The reason for all this partying was because my good friend Tom has been in town from his travels around Mexico. The last time I saw Tom we were relaxing under the sun in Mexico for my wedding back in May.
Since he has been in town, we have biked around every neighborhood in Seattle, drank beer in great micro breweries, clubbed until 3am and even made a late night drive to Portland for an all night adventure only to return after some tasty Pine State biscuits and gravy.
While I will miss having him around I can’t say that my body would say the same. Now for a few nights of rest and recovery. Hopefully he will share some photos of all our adventures with me so I can post them here. Will smashface be the new big internet craze? I think so.
Next stop, Whistler BC
/I’m so excited to write that we will be leaving Seattle tomorrow evening and heading for the snow peaked mountains in British Columbia. We’re heading up with a great group of friends to snowboard every nook and cranny we can find on these mountains.
The only challenge I see is figuring out how not to spend very much money… Whistler is not cheap. As long as Cassie and I stick to our plan of eating and drinking at the lodge I think we will be alright.
Look Right, Turn Left
/I’m so happy to see that another set of our friends have taken to the road as well. Their trip has started in lovely city of Santiago, Chile. My rough understanding of their trip will have them exploring South America and then a stint in South East Asia as well. If you need a blog to follow I would have to recommend their little slice of the web. Look Right, Turn Left.
Tickets in hand
/It’s official, we have bought our one way ticket to Seoul, South Korea. I’ll be honest when I say I almost never saw this day coming. After many searches on united.com’s over priced website we finally came across tickets that were a good deal. Right then I picked up the phone and called to reserve our seats. We will be leaving Seattle on April 30th, A little bit sooner than we were hoping but I think it will work out perfectly. Since we had another pair of vouchers from United we also found a flight from Hong Kong to Singapore as well. All that time spent at the airport in San Francisco really paid off. Thanks again United for overbooking all of our flights.
